Thought I'd start a thread on myths! And then maybe compile them at the end and put them into one big file. So please add! What myths have you discovered are wrong while doing BFL? 1. Scale weight is not an indication of success 2. You can not spot reduce 3. Everyone has a six-pack, it is just hidden under a layer of fat. 4. Dropping your calories too low will make your body keep your fat, not get rid of it faster. 5. There is very little difference between 2%, 1% and ff cottage cheese except taste... and all amino acids are present in each type. 6. Alcohol does not stop fat burning for days, only about 8 hours. 7. Lean beef is not low-fat.... 97% lean beef is by volume not calories.
